Autumn… and Holiday Parties

Howdy..
The hall is entering my favorite time of the year. Warm days and cool nights. October was a busy month, with beautiful weddings and fundraisers. Today is a much needed quiet day at the hall. The fall and winter migratory birds are eagerly enjoying the seed in the bird feeders, the squirrels are teasing my dogs, and I am preparing for another busy week.
I have a few Wednesday through Sunday spots left for holiday parties. So book your event soon. I also have an open house this Wednesday night from 4-6, Thursday lunch 11-1, and a larger open house this Saturday morning from 9-11..

2009/2010 Specials.. and Open House..

Howdy Folks,
We still have a few weekend dates open for the holidays.. So book your holiday party now!
Fall is here and the hall is absolutely lovely. I have a brief open house this Saturday morning 10/24 from 8-9:30 and another open house on Halloween from 9-11..
Please email me and let me know if you plan to attend. We are currently offering a 15% discount for any remaining Fridays-Sundays in 2009 and a 10% discount for any open Fridays- Sundays through March of 2010. I hope to see you all early this weekend or on the morning of Halloween.. I am also available for appointments during the week, or just stop by during regular daytime office hours. Vacation Hours/ Open House Times

Howdy Ya’ll,
I am heading to Merry Old England to visit family from Friday September 25th- October 4th, so the hall will only be open for a few hours.. If you are a current client and need to visit the space, or a potential client, that would love to check out the sweet hall.. Please feel free to come by during any of the dates and times listed below. My assistant, Jerod, will be in the office during these hours. Mercury is Ecstatic over Ecstatic Cuisine

Howdy…
Last week I was invited by Jesse Bloom the owner and chef of Ecstatic Cuisine for a great lunch and a preview of his new menu for weddings and events.. The Thai beef salad was wonderful.. He is also a master of vegetarian cuisine, which is a big plus for many of the events I host here at Mercury.. Best of all, his pricing was fantastic.. Please check out his website.. Hotel alternative we just love!!

A few of our wedding parties have raved about their stay at this vacation rental house nearby (2 miles). It’s a 3 bed – 2 bath and seems to work very well for families and for a staging ground for an event here. It’s beautifully appointed and well-located. The owner, Chris, also gets his share of compliments for hosting. If you mention Mercury Hall, he said he could offer a lower rate on the weekly rate of $990/week.
